What principles define how you live?

You need to try and be present in everything you do. Everyone says time flies and the older you get, the more that makes sense. Invest in time.

You need to try your best to be honest. Open and honest communication is incredibly challenging when it comes to sensitive topics but without that, there’s no real truth or knowing someone to their core. Life isn’t all positives so learning how to navigate communication through those periods is critical.

Lastly, there has to be some form of passion in what you’re doing… even if it’s faked or exaggerated. Example being there’s not a ton of joy in my job title itself but when you dissect parts of my responsibilities or things I’ve encountered in my role, I can find passion in that. Also, high level or bigger picture- getting joy out of what my team produces, even though it’s not a direct contribution from myself.
