Lying

Why do people lie? Is it that no one has taught them the importance of accountability and integrity, or is it that people can’t cope with the truth or their own actions?

The last year I’ve had a few significant lies thrown my way in life and it has been a really difficult challenge determining what I can and can’t handle, including what the lie is about and whom it’s stemming from. I’ve always took a strong stance on being unable to tolerate liars, yet here I am after four tremendous financial slaps, in the same situation, pondering life choices and what to do next.
